Everything went well and it was good to see Dr. Forrest again! Here are pictures from today...I did it right this time! I am so proud. :)

Here is Baby B and Baby A. Baby B is on the left and baby A on the right. Baby A is baby A because he/she is lower. They are both measuring right on target at 10w4d. Dr. Forrest said that they both get an A for being on target at his first time seeing them.

This is a pic of Baby B. You can already see the facial features, it was amazing. The changes that can happen in two weeks. I wish he had given me a picture of baby A because you could see that he/she has daddy's nose just like Haley does. It was crazy.
Back to my appt details. We first talked in his office for a good 20 minutes. He called for my chart and then he started out how I have done this before and it's going to be similar. I said but there are two in there! He goes, "Oh, I didn't know that type of news! That changes things a little bit then." It was great to see his reaction. I thought Dr. Allen would've told him, but I'm glad she didn't. It was funny. He talked about how things were going to be just like a regular singleton pregnancy up until I hit about 20-24 weeks. I will go monthly until then. At that point I will switch to biweekly. From 24-30 weeks he said was a critical growth time for twins, so I have to take it easy and dont do anything crazy. Also he said if we are going to travel we have to do it between now and mid August. He said as long as I am in the US and/or Europe, I should be fine. He also said as long as I make it to 37-38 weeks that would be great. Of course they would do the c-section. I told him there was no way I was going through pushing out twins after pushing and getting nowhere the first time around! He was laughing.
He said I should eat about 20% more caleries for them, but not to overdue it. He gave me a referral to see the peri for my nuchal translucency scan between 12 and 14 weeks. It is scheduled on the 27th of May. (I guess I need another babysitter for Haley!) Then he said that I would also see them again for the anatomy scan at 18 weeks. After that I would see them every 4-6 weeks for growth scans, all depending on how they are growing, etc.
Then he did a swab for some std or something and then he did the ultrasound. It was just amazing to see how much they have grown in two weeks. I could see both of their profiles and as I said before one of them already has daddys nose! Maybe just maybe they will be able to tell the anatomy at the 13 week nuchal scan! I can only hope. 18 weeks seems so far away. The date is July 1st......hopefully they can do it on that exact date!
Haley was a champ at the appt playing in the play area with Grammy. I was very proud that I didnt hear her screaming or anything while I was in the exam room. Good for Haley! Already showing she can be a good big sister!
All for now. Still feeling good and everything has been going great.
